DIRECTION
The GPS coordinates for our camp are: 34°23'22.4"N 117°43'03.6"W (34.389553,-117.717655) in Google map; OR N34°23.372', W117°43.050' in Garmin Nuvi
However, DO NOT RELY on your GPS as you are entering the Angeles National Fforest area, GPS tends to be inaccurate and your cell phone signals are very weak up here. Please print out and follow the directions below; it will help take you to our camp easily.
Arriving from San Bernadino and Inland Empire area:
- From either I-215 N or I-15 N, it will merge onto I-15 N
- Take the CA-138 exit toward Palmdale/Silverwood Lake
- Turn left onto CA-138 W (drive 8.6 mi)
- Turn left onto CA-2 W (drive 7.1 mi)
- Once you pass Wrightwood Town and Mountain High Ski Area, Hyw CA-2 will be divided into 3 roads. Take the middle road toward Palmdale/Jackson Lake. About 3 miles down the road, Harmony Pines is on the right.
Arriving from Orange County and San Diego area:
- From OC, take either CA-22 E, 55 N, 91 E, to I-15 N or CA-22 E, 57 N, 60 E, to I-15 N
- From SD, take either I-15 N or I-5 N, CA-57 N, CA-60 E, to I-15 N
- Take the CA-138 exit toward Palmdale/Silverwood Lake
- Turn left onto CA-138 W (drive 8.6 mi)
- Turn left onto CA-2 W (drive 7.1 mi)
- Once you pass Wrightwood Town and Mountain High Ski Area, Hyw CA-2 will be divided into 3 roads with Big Pines Hwy in the middle. Take the middle road toward Palmdale/Jackson Lake. About 3 miles down the road, Harmony Pines Camp is on the right.
Ariving from Los Angeles areas:
- Take either I-10 E or CA-60 E to I-15 N
- Take the CA-138 exit toward Palmdale/Silverwood Lake
- Turn left onto CA-138 W (drive 8.6 mi)
- Turn left onto CA-2 W (drive 7.1 mi)
- Once you pass Wrightwood Town and Mountain High Ski Area, Hyw CA-2 will be divided into 3 roads with Big Pines Hwy in the middle. Take the middle road toward Palmdale/Jackson Lake. About 3 miles down the road, Harmony Pines Camp is on the right.
Arriving from the Northern California:
- Take either I-101 S, I-152 E, to I-5 S or I-5 S
- Take the exit onto CA-138 E toward Lancaster/Palmdale (drive 36 mi)
- Merge onto CA-138 E/CA-14 S via the ramp to Los Angeles/Lancaster,
- Continue to follow CA-14 S for 15 mi
- Take the CA-138E exit again, then continue onto CA-138E (it is turned right at 47th, then Fort Tejon Rd, Pearblossom Hwy but it is still CA-138E)
- Then when you reach 87th St E, make a right
- Take left onto Fort Tejon Rd
- Continue to keep on the right onto Valyermo Rd (Drive 2.5 mi)
- Continue onto Big Pines Rd for 8 miles, Harmony Pines Camp will be on the left.
Arriving from Victorville and Las Vegas, NV:
- Take I-15 S
- Take the CA-138 exit toward Palmdale/Silverwood Lake
- Turn right onto CA-138 W (drive 8.6 mi)
- Turn left onto CA-2 W (drive 7.1 mi)
- Once you pass Wrightwood Town and Mountain High Ski Area, Hyw CA-2 will be divided into 3 roads with Big Pines Hwy in the middle. Take the middle road toward Palmdale/Jackson Lake. About 3 miles down the road, Harmony Pines Camp is on the right.
